I’m a lifelong Cambridge resident, born and raised right here in Preston and Ward 3, with three generations of my family having called this community home. I’ve lived here, raised my family here, run businesses here, and spent decades volunteering
and giving back to the community I love. Preston is more than the place I represent. It’s part of who I am. I’ve watched our community grow and change throughout the past half century; as a daughter, a caregiver, a parent, a business owner, a volunteer and now as a community representative on City Council.
Those experiences have shaped how I see Cambridge and the decisions we make about its future. I understand the importance of growth and change, but I also understand why our history, neighbourhoods and community identity matter. Our past should inform our future, not impede it. It’s about balance. Four years ago, I asked Ward 3 residents for the opportunity to represent our community. I’m proud of the work we’ve accomplished, but there is much more to do. I’m running again because I believe experienced, accessible and independent representation matters and because I believe Cambridge’s best days are still ahead.
I believe we can build a stronger Cambridge by respecting where we came from, listening to the people who call this community home, and making thoughtful decisions about where we go next. That’s why I would be honoured to continue serving Preston,
Ward 3 and the Cambridge community I have always called home.
