My Priorities for Ward 3 & Cambridge

Cambridge is changing, and the decisions we make today will shape our community for decades. My priorities are focused on maintaining the things we love about Cambridge while making sure our city is affordable, well-managed and prepared for the future.

A City Hall That Works for People

Accessible government, meaningful engagement, better communication, customer
service and ensuring residents have a real voice before decisions are made. Meaningful consultation is more than ticking a box. It requires genuine effort to ensure everyone is aware and able to share their input. 

Responsible Spending & Accountability

Sustainable taxes, transparency around spending and staffing, responsible reserves,
better reporting and making sure the programs you want provide real value. Any
decision made affects my family and I as well. 

Great Cities Are Built Neighbourhood by Neighbourhood

I have a long history of volunteering in our local Preston community with groups such as the Preston Market, Preston Towne Centre Business Improvement Association (BIA), Canada Day Parade, Community Clean Up events and much more. When community members come together to share an experience everyone benefits. 

Housing With the Infrastructure to Support It

More housing choices, responsible infill, good planning, infrastructure capacity,
neighbourhood impacts, transportation and environmental protection. While we cannot change the policies set in place by upper levels of government, I can and I will advocate for our community. I will ensure that community members are aware of any proposals and that meaningful engagement opportunities are available for you. Your voice matters to me and I will continue to do the best that I can for our community today and in the future. 

Safe, Accessible & Inclusive Cambridge

A community where everyone belongs and can participate. Utilizing universal design
when renovations or new construction is underway helps everyone and saves money. By planning spaces that are accessible and welcoming, our community provides a welcoming space for those who live, work and visit.
